Learn To Ride

Our Learn to Ride Program is given in the form of 4 x 45 mins private lessons. We will teach the learner how to mount and dismount, start and stop, brake, corner both at speed and slowly, ride in a straight line and slow riding technique amongst other skills.

We aim to have most students riding in the first lesson. We then use the remaining sessions to work on improving their skills and confidence on the bike.

Bikes and helmets are available for hire, but you are most welcome to bring your own.

Fees:

  • Kids: $250 for 4 x 45min lessons
  • Adults: $280 for 4 x 45min lessons

What to wear:

  • Short or Long sleeve t-shirt.
  • Bike shorts or Cycling tights
  • Cycling gloves
  • Closed shoes
  • Optional: Vest / Jackets

For the riders’ safety, a bike and helmet check will be conducted at the start of each session.

Adult Skills Development and Rider Education

This is aimed at current riders looking to improve on their skills and knowledge. It is ideal for the occasional rider wanting to make their ride safer and enjoyable. The program runs for 4 hours and covers Basic Bike maintenance and set-up, skills exercises like braking, cornering, uphill and downhill riding, gear changing, riding in groups and riders’ etiquette as well as open road traffic riding. We also focus heavily on road safety for the rider.

Courses are held at our Indoor Bike Park in East Bentleigh.

Fees:

  • $140 per rider for a 4hr course in a group of no more than 7 riders.
  • This course can also be offered as a one-on-one and will cost $280.

What to bring:

  • Bicycle in good working condition and a helmet.
  • Sunscreen and drinks to rehydrate.

What to wear:

  • Short or Long sleeve t-shirt.
  • Bike shorts or Cycling tights
  • Cycling gloves
  • Closed shoes
  • Optional: Vest / Jackets

Ride to Work & City Riding

Take advantage of our “Ride to Work Program”. This course provides the skills required for riders’ to confidently travel through the City. The training session focusses on high-traffic riding, tram tracks and potential hazards, performing hook turns, and specialised bike handling skills. This course runs for 3 hours and for a maximum of 7 riders.

Fees:

  • $150 per rider for a 3hr course. Upon request, we can also help our clients to work out the best cycling route to get to and from work.
  • For an additional $90, we can ride with you on your first day to work on your bike.

What to bring:

  • Bicycle in good working condition and a helmet.
  • Sunscreen and drinks to rehydrate.
